Rehab Center Review:
I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Management is horrible & fail to let the family know anything about their plan of action for your love one. They're understaffed & patients are offen neglected. The facility is worn down. Broken beds, the walls need to be cleaned/painted, & no a/c in the room. The food was horrible & kept making my mother sick but they refused to give her any other substitutes.
DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!! This place should be ashamed of their horrible service! God help you if your loved one gets sick or has an accident while the nurses aid is on a break because nobody will help you. Nobody will take responsibility for anything. The workers simply pass the buck and do less than the bare minimum to keep their jobs. The doctors and PT and OT workers seem fine, but MANY of the workers (nurses and CNAs) in charge of caring for patients are the rudest people I’ve ever met. They give you attitude just for asking questions or requesting help. Newsflash, THAT IS YOUR JOB! If you don’t care about human lives, go get a different job!!! I can go on for pages about the poor quality of care here, but there’s no point. Nobody will do anything to improve this place or makeup for their many many mistakes. One of which was loosing the Do Not Resuscitate paperwork less than 24 hours after handing it to
someone. I feel many lawsuits are heading their way.
It was a wonderful visit with my friend Irma Johnson. She was eating and I decided to wait until we could talk. I am so glad I did. We faced time with my daughter and my granddaughter. She remembered my daughter but I am not sure if she remembers me even though we were at Ford together. Great visit for both of us. I showed Irma how the City has daffodils around the City, parks and neighborhoods.
We placed my dad in the care of Allegria for his rehabilitation care and found the services to be “good”. While there were some areas that were concerning (communication and updates on dad’s progress) there were other areas that were OUTSTANDING! I initially reached out to the sales office because we were looking for assisted living options prior to dad’s immediate health issue. This is when I was connected to Ms.Jamie Thornton. She was the answer to our prayers and concerns. She singlehanded relieved many of our issues and concerns. Her support was remarkable!
While Allegria may not be our final option for assisted living for my 92 & 96 year old parents(due to financial constraints) I would totally recommend meeting with Jamie before deciding in favor or against Allegria. She has even offered her support with our future questions-whether we pick Allegria or not!
Roger Bushnell, Matthew Wallace and Sarah Pushies make an exceptional team!
I am overwhelmed by their annual Longest Day event that benefits the Alzheimer’s Association. Their hard work and dedication to their roles is evident by the wide range of activities and smiles all around! I have never seen such an engaged community. Consider me impressed!
My dad in the rehab area and he love the staff very attentive to his needs and I'm pleased as well he wants to stay in one of the other facilities that will accommodate his situation so yes I'm pleased
This place is a complete disaster all of the good reviews are coming from actual managers and employers their review should not even count they are all lies.
The place is run down and the management and DON are very unprofessional and could use some more training the place is so unfair an and I think they just hiring anybody at this point they need better leadership with a fair work environment they treat their nurses better than their CNAs as if they don't deserve the same respect just because their job description it's a bunch of gossip unfair staffing and scheduling the equipment is very cheap and run down a lot of it doesn't even work I have seen nurses come to work every day late and I'm surprised they still have a job and I have seen seen a CNA fired for being late for 3 days and actually dealing with life issues that should be excused it's just not a fair work environment there is no Union to back you up so basically at will is all you're going to deal with they have a high turnover they're always hiring and firing new people it's a shame and they really need to do better and treat their employees all the same and fairly.
My mom went here for rehab for a period of time. Staff was great and caring with a few exceptions. However, I will say that concerns were addressed pretty immediately with follow up. Some staff, not all, do not have the right attitude about Healthcare. Everything is always everyone else's job which confuses me as to why anyone would go into Healthcare with that attitude. Overall not a terrible experience. I think it would have been more positive had my moms situation been a bit different with mobility and independence. Food is ok overall too. Under a couple of different circumstances, I would send my mom back there again.
